Heading home.

I failed to take a picture on this morning's walk in St Ives woods as my battery had expired!

Next stop was the hairdressers. On the way home it was bright and breezy and as I descended through the village of Wilsden I could see just a hint of a rainbow over our village in the valley below.

I pulled off on Bents Lane to take this shot but the rainbow was no longer visible.

You can see the top edge of our village here, the rest is hidden in the valley created by Harden Beck. Most of the trees are in the St Ives Estate and the colours are looking great despite the recent storm.

I liked the contrast of the sun in the foreground and the dark clouds in the distance.
