On to Bandhavgarh... Day 1

We started by 9 AM next morning by road to reach Bandhavgarh. Somehow we had a bad car and the drive was quite uncomforable. We reached by afternoon and checked in to our tent. At Bandhavgarh we had several options to stay and decided to get quite adventurous. We had also booked a tree house for a night.

The tent was really nice and quite comfortable. It was designed like a single room with an attached bath and was quite nice. The weather had been fantastic in Kanha and it had rained the previous day and today. The extensive tree cover really made the weather at this time superb. Bandhavgarh was equally cool and very extremely cold at night. That evening we managed to burn the adapter of the laptop after attempting to charge it in the tents plug point. It was a stupid thing to do given that a tent should not have been expected to have very well made electrical points.

Anyway, we had a nice camp fire set up for us that evening and enjoyed the pleasant weather. The night only got colder when we retired to bed early, so we could get up early for the safari at 6:30 AM next morning. This should have been the timing at Kanha as well if it wasn't for the tiger counting going on. The cooler it is, the greater the chances of spotting the tiger. Tigers get lazy and sleep when the sun comes out in such cold weather.
