Occupied Father's Day

Father's Day - our usual casual trip to the station to wave at the steam trains. We walked down the stairs to find swastikas hung along the station and armed troops everywhere! We'd forgotten it was WW2 weekend and our station was playing the part of occupied France. Had to walk quickly past the dismembered bodies in the field hospital - no idea how to explain to a 2 year old.
