Saturday...

Loving reading about the various traditions on this saturday before Easter day. In Poland they have a blessing of the food basket festival today and apparently bacon is in there as a symbol of God's abundance!

Not that we did any blessing or preparing for Easter (unless you count eating half a chocolate rabbit). We went to see the trains with friends, were treated to see the Oliver Cromwell and the Southern (I'm still in the dark, but they were big and steamy.. very impressive beasts). It was a special day so there were lots of trains and people to wave at as they went past enjoying their train rides.

This afternoon we had a gorgeous time in the garden, the light was lovely and we found new things to play with. By the end son was sat IN the sand box drinking sand from his makeshift flowerpot cup. He's gone to sleep smiling and singing. Blessings better than bacon.
