At the bottom of the sea
This shell of a sea urchin stands out brightly against the dark stones and mud at the bottom of Stornoway Harbour this afternoon. The tide was out, and with the equinoctial springtides it was a very low ebbtide indeed. In six hours from now, this shell will be under 18 feet of water at high tide.
