Portuguese Reading Room

This is one of the most magnificent libraries I have ever seen. It is called Real Gabinete Português de Leitura. It is in the old historic section of Rio de Janeiro. It was built in 1837 and houses over 350,000 books, some dating from the 16th to 18th centuries.
