The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn
One of Ireland's oldest hostelries, The Old Inn has been offering hospitality to travellers for 400 years. Peter the Great - Tsar of Russia, highwayman Dick Turpin and former US President George Bush are among the many travellers who have lodged and dined under its thatched roof.
Although the building has been extended over the years the original part, with its thatched roof, is still in use and can be seen to the left of the picture.
