Sun, Sea and Sand

First full day in the Black Isle.  I went for a lovely walk before breakfast, picking up the Sunday papers before heading back to the holiday cottage.  After a leisurely morning we popped along the road to Fortrose for a look around, a visit to the cathedral and to get some provisions for tea.  The rain came on so we had to take shelter in a café with some lovely home baking.  The rain came to nothing, so we headed along to the beach at Rosemarkie and had a look around.  The sun had appeared again and it was beautiful looking over the sea to Fort George which was lit up by the sun.

A lovely relaxing first day of our Black Isle holiday.  Here’s BB on the beach at Rosemarkie – sun, sea and sand.  What more could a boy want?
