Vessel

Another week, another challenge and this week has been entitled "Vessel"

A few things were going thru my mind as to what I could photograph and it was my wife that mentioned that maybe I could capture the skeleton of the Chinese Lantern that we have in our dining room.

So here it is - the delicate skeleton that still houses the seed - a vessel that will protect until the seed is released to fall into the ground and then that seed will produce another plant....and whilst it may look pretty, I have been informed that these things can grow like wild fire and the roots can get way out of control!!
