Today's the day ......................... to predict

Is anyone out there really impressed with how accurate weather forecasts have become in recent years?

Personally, I think it's quite incredible how they are able to predict - almost to the minute - what's going to be happening. Take today, for example. The weather forecast for Kendal was that it was going to be grey cloudy until 1.00pm. Then between 1.00 and 2.00pm the symbol changed to rain but with a sun peeping out of the cloud. For the rest of the afternoon it went back to grey cloudy - until 6.00pm when there was rain again, but it was going to be all over within the hour.

All I can say is that it all went totally according to plan. This is a picture taken after the 1.00pm rain just as the 2.00pm sun came out .........................
