Cleopatra
I found this little critter on the branch of a tree that we had pruned.
I have no idea what it is. The head looks like that of an ant, but the body looks more like a beetle, with yellow spots. And it has the most amazing eyes, just like Cleopatra. It was interesting watching it grooming itself, a bit like a cat!

UPDATE! It's a Flower longhorn beetle! "These tiny native New Zealand beetles can sometimes be found on white lillies, and are so small they are sometimes mistaken for ants".
I haven't heard back about the cafe job yet.
