Together Alone

We went to Christchurch today, and had a look around the city. There's still lots to be be done with the rebuild, but I guess these things take time. We visited the botanic gardens for the first time ever, and what an amazing and beautiful place it is. There were lots of people there, enjoying the sunshine and warm temperature (22 degrees Celsius!). Afterwards we had lunch at the historic Antigua boats sheds - also a first.

This photo is interesting to me because all the people in this scene are looking in different directions, like they're in a world of their own, even the woman in the painting has a distant look in her eyes.
