What sunrise?

The forecast of a bright morning meant that hubby thought it would be a good idea to get over to Sonning before sunrise this morning. There wasn't a sunrise. It was grey and overcast. I had hoped for golden sun to be shining over my shoulder and on to the bridge. At least there were some reflections, but basically took 12 images, and deleted 11 of them. I gave this a "yesteryear" treatment in Lightroom as this scene has not changed, other than the boat, for a very long time. The bank on the left hand side was completely under water last winter for weeks, ( and where I am standing) and the road to the right of the bridge is still being repaired after sitting under water for so long.

For those George Clooney fans amongst you, you might be interested to know that he and his wife have just moved in the other side of this bridge, infact that large tree on the right is in their garden. We were not invited in for breakfast. I believe they are busy today having their 3rd wedding just up the river near Marlow.
