LONG CRENDON MEDIEVAL COURTHOUSE

The building is a good example of a 15th-century timber-frame construction, set in the lovely village of Long Crendon. It was purchased & restored by the National Trust in 1900. The ground floor, which is lived in was originally the village poor house.

I took C to Haddenham for a treatment & so I visited the village of LC for an hour or so. It is full of timber framed "Chocolate box" thatched houses and also has a lovely church which is presently closed for refurbishment.

Lovely mild sunny autumnal day
