Friendly fauna

I went for a walk to distract myself from the dozens of mozzie bites driving me mad, and i'm not exaggerating the number...

I'll admit I was half looking for snakes. I didn't find one. But I did find this, anyone know the name?

I did hear my name being hollered by the blokes while I was getting dinner ready, they know I want to see snakes and turns out there was a tiiiiny baby brown snake (the dangerous ones) under my chair outside. So mummy must be close....
