we're gonna rattle this ghost town
a long, full day.
on my way home two pleasant things happened: first, it was markedly quiet. it's spring break at BC which means cleveland circle is quiet. i just loved how noticeable it was. everything felt calm and peaceful. second, a young lady got on the bus, clearly going home from a first date (that went well) or something of that nature. she was so happy, it was exuding from her. it made me happy.
this photo is taken inside the building where i have class. while this is beautiful, my classrooms are not - so, don't be deceived. also, no clocks on the wall. bland furniture, with bland walls, and the only object in the room is a crucifix over the door. telling. and i kinda like it. (though i would certainly appreciate the clock).
more good news: it is finally march. there is hope in march. spring is coming. sometimes i imagine that i can smell spring in the air. it might be all the rain. no less, i am hopeful.
