Roman holiday

We left home at 2:30am this morning for a drive to Dublin airport before jetting off to Roma.

And here we are! Had a wander from our hotel to the Spanish Steps (where I took this photo - just at the top of the steps) and then walked down the Via Condotti, not even pausing to look in the windows of Prada, Gucci, Armani, Missoni and the like.

It is totally bunged with people here! I would hate to see it in the summer , but perhaps the tourist season is year-long.

Now having a wee rest back in hotel before we go out for pizza and red wine :)

I like Rome.
