Splish Splash
The weather has been questionable to say the least today - rain and serious wind but it didn't stop us getting our wellies on and having a splash around on the beach. Freezing when we got back so straight in a warm shower, soup for dinner, pj's and a film!
We also managed to fit in a visit to the sea zoo and Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch which is the longest place name in Europe and means 'The Church of Mary in the Hollow of the White Hazel near the fierce whirlpool and the church of Tysilio by the Red Cave.'
The place with the longest name in the world is found in New Zealand and is Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu which means 'The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his nose flute to his loved one.' So I've learned something new today - thanks to Wikipedia :-)
