An ominous portent.
Red sky in the morning is the ship's warning.
And so it turned out to be.
Torrential rain all morning.
Of Biblical proportions.
I had to go to the Post Office, so I donned my excellent wet gear (completely rainproof) and headed down to the shops. I was shedding so much water when I entered the premises that one of the staff had to follow me around with a big squeezy mop in order to keep the tiled floor safe. I was like a walking waterfall but at least I was dry. The other customers looked like soggy sponges.
