Is the time for eating over?

Is there anything sadder than a dog who sees no prospect of more food? Jasper has eaten his dinner and only has a nap to look forward to, and then it's bed.

A day of intermittent rain which is better than expected since we were supposed to be hit by a storm yesterday. I don't think it came last night but I've been known to sleep through storms before.
