There's no leaving now

I built a bin to store leaves. The only thing I needed to buy was the chicken wire. The rest was made from pallets that the lumber yard gives away and some scrap wood. It's not elegant but it's functional and ready in time for the leaves that are falling in such profusion.

It's been a lovely sunny and dry day. Perfect for my project. Mrs G had a harder job as raking leaves sends our borderline collie into a frenzy of circling and nipping at the rake!

We also finished off a couple of no dig beds. We've finally used up all the cardboard boxes from our move. They're now under the top soil and suppressing the weeds. Mrs G is planning the planting for these beds. I've still got rainwater harvesting to plan.
