Bejewelled Seedhead

I took a risk and went to the photo group outing to Tofte Manor that we visited in the spring. It's not open to the general public and has to be access by prior appointment and it's not somewhere I can go back to on a better day, so we just had to make the best of it. We were hoping to see all the beautiful trees and garden in glowing autumn colours but the weather refused to play it's part. We managed just over an hour before it rained but this was still dull, grey and cloudy, it was a big disappointment but we still had a laugh and the cake was nice, so not a complete wash out :-)) I took lots of photos in the hope that I can bring some of the details out with some post production editing but out of everything I took I liked this pretty dandelion head with the remains of the dew/rain on it best :-))
