Laos' capital city - pool, snooker & a block o

few days in Vientiane where there isn't much to do except for a few of our favourite things - eating steak, drinking red wine and gorging on blue cheese, yum! oh and we took a fascinating walk around the city courtesy of 'the book', erm, thanks Lonely Planet (?)

We did treat ourselves to a nice hotel on the riverfront and sat on the grass at the side of the river (not much of a view with the building work going on unfortunately!) with a box of red wine, a french baguette and some snide Marmite whilst I smashed George at backgammon
