Delicate Holly Leaf

My nephew found this delicate skeletal holly leaf whilst he was tidying the borders in my sisters garden on Sunday. I just love the delicate lacy effect and thought I would share it with you. I wonder if I could coat it in 'something' to preserve it and use as a decoration or make into a brooch.
After a dry but grey start to the day, it deteriorated during the afternoon to give a heavy misty rain but still quite mild.
