Appreciation

Bailey is still worn out from his trip to the seaside but he hasn't had to go far today, just a couple of walks around the block. He was most reluctant to go on the first but more keen on the second. We, on the other hand, have had a very productive day, cleaning the downstairs carpets in order to remove traces of Bailey's early months. And a very satisfying job it was too. Bailey has certainly enjoyed snoozing on it.

A bit of excitement after the carpet cleaning when the neighbours' dog escaped from their garden and decided to join us. A phone number was tracked down eventually and she was returned but not before Bailey had his nose put out of joint, although I'm not quite sure whether it was because he couldn't play with our visitor or because I was playing with her.
