Positively pining

Our visitors left this morning and Bailey's first reaction was to go and sit on the doorstep. He has spent the rest of the day either asleep or looking sad, although my company was good enough this evening when he required a pillow.

I've had a day of getting things done whilst trying to cheer him up, including allowing him to get comfy on my bed whilst I sorted out the airing cupboard and putting up with him 'helping' with the ironing by sitting on it. Normal service will resume before the weeks out, I'm sure.
