Instrumenal Ice-cream

Today I visited Penn State main campus to explore the music college. I participated in music education major classes such as Concert Choir, Education Prep-seminar, and Piano Skills 1. Throughout the day, I attended many rehearsals, and demonstrations meant just for visitors. I was even given the opportunity to network with the College of Music professors. The infamous Blue Band invited me to watch them rehearse and I twirled with the majorette squad “Touch of Blue.” I even met the world champion feature twirler or “Blue Sapphire!” The beautiful, spread out campus left very good impressions on me wherever I ventured. Speaking with the different music education majors there was interesting because I was able to hear firsthand opinions of the program that I’m considering applying for. The music education majors let myself and 5 others “shadow” them for a day as they attended classes and rehearsals. When the long, but fascinating day came to a close. I met up with my dad and we made our way over to the creamery. Once we were there, I enjoyed strawberry ice cream with real berries in it. My dad ate teaberry ice cream in a waffle cone. Overall, it was an amazing and delicious day!
