Father and Son

One of our favorite local bands is Yardsale. Griff Hamlin sings lead and plays lead guitar for an great classic rock/R & B ensemble that also features his wife Laura leading the horn section on Sax. Both music teachers, they bring a major amount of talent to the room.

Tonight Griff and Laura brought their 3 year old (also Griffin) to my openmic for dinner. I was delighted to have them sign up to play a few songs. We were calling them Griff squared, Griff to the second power and GriffnGriff, but what ever they are called, this talented family will be pleasing a crowd for many years to come.
