Virginia Creeper

Where's the autum weather? The leaves on the Virginia Creeper have turned but not the temperatures. It's been 20C here in Kent today. Tee shirt and beach weather not the sort of stuff you expect 2 days before November. It appears that tomorrow will be, if anything, warmer than today and a good job to as I'm in the signal box at Wittersham for the day.

Spent some of the morning picking onions then went swimming before coming home to tomatoes on toast (the last of the greenhouse tomatoes I think) then an afternoon of work on the prison contract. Not that productive and quite frustrating as there are so many barriers to overcome coupled with a lack of clarity and transparency about process. Nothing new there then.
