Sintra, Portugal

To have seen the world and left out Sintra is not truly to have seen - thus goes, more or less, a Spanish saying.

I'm not sure I agree but it was definitely worth the 40 minute train ride to get there. It was very pretty and we had a nice explore finding some cool play areas for the kids and we went on the car-train thing to save our legs from too much walking up and down all the hills!
