"Leaf me alone!"

There's a huge pile of leaves mounded on the ground under this tree, but there are still a few "hanger-on's" that aren't quite ready to drop! This leaf was huge compared to some of the others, but you can see that it's really "aging";
it's got some liver spots going on, & its' "skin" is getting awfully dry! Some of it's neighbors have already turned a rusty brown color & are curling up, which doesn't bode well for the stubborn ones that are determined to stick around a little longer! It's only a matter of time! :))
