Sloe Down

Continuing a food and drink theme, Mrs G and I have started a new tradition.

Sloe gin.

Inspired in no small part by a particularly good batch my uncle makes. He got a little upset when a few of us polished off most of his yield a few years ago so it's difficult to get him to share since.

We'll see in a couple of months how this batch goes and if it turns out well, we'll probably make it an annual creation. However, if it's a total disaster, we'll be knocking on someone's door. Keep your fingers crossed Uncle T! ;)
