Foghorns?

No, not really. They are air vents just outside the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), in Adelaide.

I suppose they could be thought of as a gigantic fart machine for the building. In which case you wouldn't want to be standing downwind of them on a bad day.

And just imagine the poor sods who have to keep them clean! They were brightly shining so someone must have scoured them. They can come and have a go at my kitchen if they like.
