Pink Eggs???

A huge mysterious nest was found in the school grounds today.
It contained pink eggs, orange feather, old conker shells, a mouldy apple, moss (not the dog) and eucalyptus bark.

Of course it was a plot to get the whole school from nursery to year 6 inspired to come up with interesting ideas about which creature had vistited us.
These included owl, crocodile, dragon, flamingo, mutant creature, dinosaur. The plan was to inspire the children to produce 'exciting writing'.

Seems to have worked, looking at the collection of writing and drawing left in the school hall at the end of the day!
