Auschwitz-Birkenau

Jeff and I took a trip out to Auschwitz-Birkenau while the grandparents looked after the girls.

We had a guided tour which was very well organised and informative. I think we could have spent a whole day there had we gone on our own, but the tour covered the main highlights.

It was as I expected and much more.

The vastness of is, has to be experienced really. And even what we saw was only a fraction of it because buildings had been destroyed and dismantled.

I just cannot even begin to comprehend how people can treat other people this way.
