One Tree Hill

I have had my first day in NZ. I was met by the sister of my daughter's new husband and his Mum and we had a lovely dinner. Before that we went up a landmark viewing spot called One Tree Hill. Apparently the tree was destroyed a long time ago and there is a large monument there in its place. Still I managed to snap a couple of good views of Auckland on my iPad!

This looks over part of the city and contains the obligatory sheep.
