Cockle Bay

I went a to see my daughter's husband's mother yesterday. A lovely area surrounding Cockle Bay. Although the weather was not too great I managed to get a reasonable view from the top bedroom showing the wonderful location of the area.

I first met G when she came to the wedding so it was a great coincidence to be in Auckland and to visit again so soon. She told me of her family history searching which is very extensive. When in UK recently she went to Edinburgh and to Bermondsey in London to trace information on various branches of the family. It was quite fascinating.

Well the break is over and today I will be attending the prison and getting my itinerary for the week. My to do list has grown so will need to do a lot of work both in the prison and back at the apartment.

I have decided to post in the early morning which means early evening in the UK. So the picture I took yesterday and will search for a new blip today. Unfortunately when I am in the prison there are no photo opportunities and without my iPhone I cannot take casual photos but I will get something I hope!
