Wells Cathedral

A walk around the Bishop's Palace at Wells. This is a view of the eastern end of the Cathedral from the Palace grounds. Wells gets its name from ...... the wells here, pools which are fed from underground streams heading deep underground from the nearby Mendips. The whole area around the Palace is lovely. It is effectively a moated site, and ancient with fantastic buildings.
