Forgotten fun!!

The kids often forget about their toys when they are put away. Out of sight, out of mind, I suppose! Today, we pulled all of Tyler's toys out of his toybox! We did this for a couple of reasons. 1. It was time to clean out the old stuff. 2. Maybe it would spark some creativity!

Well, it definitely sparked some creativity. We didn't necessarily play with the toys from the toy box, but it created a mood of creative thinking and long lost fun! We ended up downstairs doing a puppet show and the next thing I knew, the kids put on "costumes" and started going crazy on the bed. Mia was pretending to be monsters and all sorts of things. Tyler was just jumping around like crazy, doing some sort of strange dance of sorts!

We had a very fun drop in visit from Papa and Grandma today! They will be back on Friday to spend the weekend and watch Tyler's basketball game. But in the meantime, they stopped in and brought the kids special personalized Mickey and Minney hats and of course, treats! The kids were thrilled!

It was a grand day!
