Piazzas, pizzas, pasta.

A day in Vatican City. We are greeted by 3 brightly coloured carts pulled by oxen. The crowds are huge. The Pope is sitting in front of St Peter's flanked by cardinals. We take a guided tour around the Vatican Museum - highly decorated ceilings, cool marble and such artistry. Sistine Chapel - wow! Then St Peter's - huge! impressive! We walk the 500+ steps to the top of the cupola dome. Views through the apostles across the city.
Pizza on the pavement. A walk through the beautiful streets for the last time & more ice cream. A lovely pasta meal. Home tomorrow.
