Up Pompeii

An early start.

Saw Monte Casino, Bay of Naples, view over to Capri & Vesuvius on route to Pompeii. Lunch with a singing Italian included. Bumped into Faye & Zach as we went into Pompeii!

I wasn't prepared for the vast scale of it and the network of cobbled streets and houses! Far more than a few bits of ruined Roman remains. The sad stories of the people with detailed tales of age, pregnancy etc.

Another jaw dropping day, which included the now obligatory daily Italian ice cream. So far I've had mascarpone, almond & lemon flavour!
