Still Dreaming

This afternoon we went to my sister's for a dinner and Birthday celebration for my nephew. On the way Dolly and I stopped and walked along the towpath of the Kennet and Avon Canal, not far from where my sister lives. There were many Narrowboats moored up there. Some of them were 'holiday rentals' - no doubt the season is now over and they are moored for the winter. There were also a few privately owned boats with 'For Sale' signs - two I saw had their price tags displayed at just under £40,000 (about $65,000 USD).

I'm still dreaming of living on a Narrowboat and living a nomadic life. Maybe I should try out a boat on a holiday first. I am very taken with the 'Tiny House Movement' and I think that a Narrowboat fits the bill!
