rainy, rainy day today. nothing drew me to blip. i ended up on the porch again, taking pictures of birds. this nuthatch was kind enough to pose for me. i'm thinking of challenging myself to see how many species of birds i can blip from this porch. seems like a good backup plan for inclement weather.

here's my tally thus far:

bird 1: white-throated sparrow
bird 2: white-breasted nuthatch

tonight there's a winter storm warning for the state of maine. high winds, possible snow and power outages. better charge my camera battery. i may be out on the porch again tomorrow.
