Kim's game.

Packing for a three week cross country skiing trip to arctic Norway takes a bit of planning, because basically everything you take has to be somehow carried for three weeks.

This year we're travelling in an area where the huts are stocked with food, so it'll be a great saving not having to carry three weeks worth of food too, or in fact pull it behind us in a pulk. However rather than having an easier trip with no pulk to pull we're going to attempt to climb a few mountains en-route, one of which at least requires an overnight stop on a glacier. So there's a bit more technical gear this time - Big Boots, Crampons, 3 Man Tent, Climbing Harness & Belay Plate - so this year the pulk is going to be full of climbing gear, which unfortunately unlike the food won't get lighter as the trip goes on.

We're also able to leave some stuff at our departure point, which is really good news for whoever is sitting beside me on the return flight, three week old clothes tend to be a bit noticeable!

So for Kim's game all you have to do is tell me which bit of absolutely essential gear I removed from the picture prior to taking the photo.
