Though shall not pass

This is a complete cheat of a blip, but it had to be done.

My mates Mick & Kath were heading out to Norway a day before us, driving down to Edinburgh to catch a BMI/SAS flight to Oslo. Unfortunately at 6am they came across this Somerfield lorry. If you want to set up a road block take a tip from this guy, nothing could get past. With hindsight it could well have been a blessing in disguise, the roads were very treacherous & if the lorry hadn't stopped them it could have been Mick & Kath in the ditch. So with no possibility of getting to Edinburgh in time they returned home.

Very helpful BMI/SAS staff got them booked on a later flight, at a cost, but believe it or not their travel insurance said there was nothing they could claim for! - Work that one out.

Anyway they arrived in Oslo that evening, a few hundred pounds worse off, but at least in one piece. The Somerfield lorry having been removed after around five hours with nobody hurt.
