Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from the floating football, the extremely creepy racoon, and the Grim Reaper. This message is also brought to you by the squirrel that ate our pumpkins.

Owen went to a birthday party up the street tonight. It is the first time he has not trick-or-treated with us. We caught this photo and sent him on his way. Then we joined up with the neighbors.

The little kids dropped about one per block. First Sylvia got tired. Then Emmett got thirsty and had to go to the bathroom. Then Mia thought that was a good idea. Then Wyatt had enough and Jim brought Evan back to the neighbor's campfire. Meanwhile, Mia and I had left in search for Jim and Evan. We spent about an hour talking with some of our older neighbors. I think that's my favorite part of Halloween: having a reason to stop by and say hi ... or "trick-or-treat" I guess.
