A contrasting day today

Went to Jodrell Bank this morning - R is interested in things astronomical - unless it's a bill - and took great interest in the Lovell telescope - seen here

This afternoon visited Quarry Bank Mills - at Styal - working cotton mill - complete with water wheel - to power the machinery - and the accompanying workers cottages - which interests me

We do have completely differing interests - but agree - that you always have to aim high
