I got the Nikkor 18-200mm VR lens a while back. The idea was to upgrade over my old 18-135mm lens and have the flexibility of shooting at the same time. But I have hardly used it ever since. Blame it on my love for the 50mm F/1.8. I can't stay calm for long when the 50mm is not mounted on my camera. The zoom has to be put to some use now else it wont be far when I forget how to use a zoom. In retrospect, it sounds strange that I was unsure about using a prime. I was confused how would I be able to use my feet rather than the zoom ring!
