Hola Dia Uno

Day 643 - the day I woke the little dude up at stooped o'clock to fly to Barcelona for half term.

We'd landed and dumped our bags before noon but given I was still a little dazed and confused from the early start decided just just explore our immediate area which included picking up treats at the local and quirky bakery to eat in Parc de la Ciutadella before expiring Barcelona Zoo (not on the original agenda but still fun all the same).

A deffo highlight was the hiring of a left hand drive golf buggy when we both got far too tired to walk - I'd quite like one to pop to the shops in now !

By the time we were allowed to check into our apartment (which was soooo cool it even had an old water fountain / statue in the kitchen .....oh and nespresso machine - life saver) we were too knackered to do much more than a quick explore of our temporary barrio and buy supplies.

I'd already decided at this point I'd quite like to live in Barcelona especially in El Born which is on the right side of edgy with a distinct creativeyounghipsterupstarters vibe.
