Out and about in Marburg

A very quick trip into town before leaving beautiful Marburg and heading back to the UK this afternoon. The altestadt (old town) is just lovely. Marburg wasn't bombed during WW2, so retains what many German cities lost, with all these old timber framed buildings, churches and the schloss. Sadly not a double decker train, and a rather tight schedule for the journey back to Frankfurt, but it's been a really great trip, so good to meet everyone who was here. The best bit of the flight back was flying right over central London by night, stunning!
